ACL Prevention Program
Tens of thousands of serious knee injuries occur in collegiate and high school athletics each year. Approximately 70 to 80% of these injuries are non-contact. These injuries occur when quickly losing control while landing from a jump or changing directions while running.
It is estimated that youth knee injuries, particularly the ACL, will cost $100 million in the U.S. However, recent research is demonstrating that dedicated programming can reduce the risk of injury. Now that several injury risk factors have been pinpointed, a preventative program is essential during critical stages of youth athletic development.
Proper training for knee injury prevention is critical in-season and off-season. Individual and sport specific needs, when properly addressed, can greatly reduce the risk of injury and allow for a more successful career.
The Performance Series ACL Prevention Program is designed with many options available to build the proper program according to age, gender and sport.
